The "Gasfabriek" (gas manufactory) produced argon and nitrogen as the inert gas mixture to fill light bulbs. See next photo for a photograph of the main factory. (The artist has taken some liberty with this rendition, which should not be considered exact; for example, a low building in front of the main factory, seen in the next photo, is missing).
